Some plans will cover some or all of the following; heart attack, strokes, cancers, kidney failure, organ transplants, bypass surgery, bone marrow transplant, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Parkinson’s Disease.
In addition to the lumpsum, some plans offer wellness benefits and coverage for the family. Carriers may also offer a reoccurrence benefit. This benefit may be subject to a waiting period if a pre-existing condition applies.
